The executive board, along with the entire Parents Association of SS. Cyril and Methodius (SSCM), would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you to SSCM. We are all looking forward to another school year and are sure it will be a great success.

As most of you know the mandatory fundraising amount for the 2008/2009 school year is $450.00. This mandatory is per family for grades K-8 only! Though we pay tuition, there is still a need to raise money to subsidize the Parish contribution. There are many ways to achieve your annual mandatory goal. For example: 
  • Chair or Co-chair an event and $100.00 to $200.00 (this depends on the fundraiser) credit toward your mandatory for the year. 
  • Work an event & receive $5.00 per hour credit toward your mandatory. (limit 40 hours per family) 
  • Computer work from home. 
  • Collating papers 
  • Wrapping baskets for our raffles
  • Attending the fundraising events 
  • Selling Candy, wrapping paper, Yankee candles etc.

Each family, as part of the mandatory $450.00, must submit a $50.00 dollar donation. This can be in the form of: 
  • a gift certificate
  • an item with a value of $50.00
  • a service worth $50.00
  • $50.00 cash

The parents association uses these donations to provide prizes for the numerous raffles we have during the school year.
